The Great Cici's Adventure.

So, Megan and I go to Cici's for some amazing spinich alfredo pizza. When we entered, a guy was mopping, and Megan clings to me so she won't fall. Homeboy mopper just laughed.

Then... Guy who rings us up is like "Your total is, whatever, would you like to add a tip for me?" And I just kinda looked at him and said, "Um... sure?" And we all laughed because he was joking. I was realy embarrassed.

THEN! As we're walking to go get our drinks, these four guys are just sitting there, and one (who obviously hadn't showered in a while) is like looking us up and down, and another one (who is obviously like over 40) is like "How're you ladies doing tonight?" And I just kinda smiled and kept walking because it was real creepy.

And then, after we got food, Megan goes up for a salad and the one who hadn't bathed came up, heres the conversation:

Guy : Hello, how are you doing today?
Megan: Uhm, okay you?
Guy : So where's everything?
Megan: What do you mean?
Guy: My back hurts. Do you know how I can fix that?
Megan: Uhm, like a chiropractor or medicine?
Guy: Medicine.
Megan: There's a... CVS... up the way.
Guy: Thanks.

And mopper guy, who was awesome and cool, was mopping the back and laughing with me as we watched Megan and made a comment something like, "Looks like shes found her man..." to which I died laughing.

Until they left, they just kinda stared, and we spoke loudly about pepper spray and stuff, it was so creppy. Woulda made a great horror movie if we had died in the end.

So, as Megan and I contemplated the ways in which they would either kill us or throw us into their truck, we had nice little conversations with mopper man (whom we left a tip for) and sat in the Cici's for almost two hours, replayed the story to 5 people, and alarmed my parents more than necessary via Facebook status.

Good times, good times.

December.

So, my birthday was back on the 20th, and I meant to write a blog sooner, but I'm only getting around to it now, so yeah.

I hung out with Chase and Megan all day, locked my keys in my car, went bowling, went to work, then ate Chinese. It was amazing. And I got a Twilight shirt. How could it get any better?

Christmas was good too, I got a camera which I was definitely not expecting. Hair straightener, Twilight stuff, all that jazz. I was very happy, all things considered.

And now, two days after Christmas and a week still to go on break, I really don't know what to do with myself. Chances are I'll be playing Guitar Hero, which Chance got for Christmas, 24/7 until break ends.

A friend of mine started to show their true colors, and I am very angry. Yeah, good times. I'll get over it in a few days. Whatever.

Peace out boy scout <3

Finally!

Only 5 more days of school until Christmas Break.
I can't wait.
My birthday is a week from tomorrow, which should be amazing.
Well, Friday should be amazing, because I have to work on my actual birthday.
But its whatever.

TWV is close to meeting their fund raising goal.
Still donate anyway though, we need all the help we can get.

I'm going Christmas shopping Tuesday.
It's the first time I've actually done so with my own money, pretty exciting.

I met the hottest guy ever.
And I got to stare at him for about three hours.
God, it was wonderful.

The whole college thing is kinda starting to freak me out. A lot of people are taking the ACT tomorrow, and its just had me thinking. I'm actually considering going in state now, even though just a week ago I was absolutely repulsed by the idea. I don't think I'm gonna have the money to leave anyway, not to mention both Marshall and WVU have pretty good theater programs. And its also a lot closer to home. But I guess I'll just have to look around. It's freaky though. A year from now, my best friends will be gone, and I'm totally gonna be here with zero friends while they slowly but surely forget about me at their respective colleges. It's to be expected I guess, but it still makes me wish I had some more friends in my grade.

But yeah, focusing on the present. Things are good. Really good. I'm happy, and I love my friends, and school is ok, I like my job, everything seems to be working out rather nicely. But you never know, a few weeks from now I could be sobbing over something stupid like I usually do in my blogs. It's whatever though.

I'm so excited for my birthday, its out of control. Seriously.

Yep yep, thats all.
Peace out boy scout.

So Pretty Much...

I'm over it.
I'm really upset about TWV.
I don't think it's worth it.
And I want it to be Christmas.

Disregard my last blog, I've been thinking, and I'm definitely not even dwelling on that anymore. Which is why I deleted it. It was about a boy. But it's whatever, who cares, anyway?

All I do is whine on here, I should just update!

TWV might be closing. I'm really upset, but there's still hope! Check out Marina's facebook for details.

I'm doing two shows for Willowtree, and I don't really want to. Ugh. The gift of the Magi and this Scrooge parody. Sure they aren't long, but I'm just too lazy.

I wanna be 17. I want two weeks off of school. And I wanna sleeeeep.

Thanksgiving wasn't much of a break for me, I was still constantly going. Never stopping. But I mean, what can ya do?

I've seen Twilight three times in theaters, and counting. It's my favorite movie. No lie. Jackson Rathbone will be my husband. You know his birthday is the day after mine? It's meant to be.

Yeah, I went out and broadcasted all over the place for Black Friday. Who knew things got so crazy? I mean, people are desperate for some of those deals.

I'm tired. Going to read Eclipse now. 3rd time through. Peace. <3

No One Reads My Blogs....

And it makes me sad.
Although this is just kind of my way to remember important things, comments would be nice.

We're in tech for TWV.
I'm actually pretty happy currently.
Things are going in a good direction.
I currently have no desire to sleep.
And I decided to write a blog.

My friends are amazing. I don't know what I would do without them. They're the only thing keeping me in check, and I love them.

Soon I'll be in exactly zero shows. I don't know if I'll be happier when its over, but I'm willing to bet I won't be.

I'm really starting to love my hair. I love the way the color jumps out in my pictures when theres grass behind me, and there really aren't many people with this color who didn't get it out of a box. And my curls are starting to cooperate.

I miss my summer friends. I wish I were still close with them, but people have to live their lives, so its understandable. I just wish I had all my friends here with me all year round.

I'll be seventeen in a month and ten days. I'll go see whatever movie I want whenever I want! So excited.

I need a break from school. Thanksgiving is two weeks away. 9 days of school and counting...

I miss summer. A lot. And I can't wait.

Um.... wtf?!

Ok, so usually when the first snow happens people are, happy, excited for winter, surprised, or maybe even all of the above. In my sisters case, yeah, she was happy.

But me? Hell to the no.

Here's how I woke up this morning:

Mackenzie: "Sam, look outside."
Me: "Why? It's dark."
Mackenzie: "Well it's snowing."
Me: "WHAT THE HELL?!"

And I was pissed for the rest of the day.

Anywho.............

We finished Monster on Sunday. And it was adorable. So go onto my MySpace and see pictures if you want.

I'm actually like really kinda happy with my life right now.
Except the snow. That just pisses me off.

Yeah, so, Twilight comes out in less than a month. And my birthday is a month and twenty-one days away. Yeah 17!

Much love.

Start of Fall.

One week until we open Monster.

God... time goes by too slow.

I can't wait to get it open. And the owner of soldiers/the mother of our old Emily whom never came to rehearsal and had to be replaced is now trying to, I guess you could say, sabotage our show by scheduling things over every night of our tech week. It's getting a little out of hand, but I think it will be better when they see how good our show is and how little their efforts effected our shows.

I want it to be Thanksgiving Break. Nowish. I've never needed a week off so bad in my life! Ugh. Not too much longer, and plus I'm getting 4 days off in a row next week anyway. Thank God.

Life is good. Friends are good. Rehearsals are good.

I auditioned and made the choir at our school a couple days ago. Given, I don't think it should be taken that seriously considering some of the people that made it are not very good. But hey, we're going to New York, so I guess whatever works, right?

Aaaaaand, if I do go to New York I will get to see my first Broadway show ever! I can hardly stand it. People don't think its that big of a deal, but the fact that I've never seen a Broadway show makes me wanna cry. So, this is pretty much amazing. (:

I miss TWV. A lot. More than I ever have before. I just want it to be summer so bad!

Its starting to get cold now, so we're getting closer and closer. 2 months and 4 days until I turn 17! Woot woot!

Anywho, there's your update. Much love.

This Sucks.

You ever wanna just curl up and die? Yeah, I know the feeling.

So, for once I'm not at work, and as I lay on my bed listening to The Academy Is... things are kind of starting to get to me. I'm stressed, tired, and ultimately not as happy as I thought I was.

There's a Monster in My Closet is starting to get to me. I have rehearsal every day, and no matter how hard I try I can not learn these new lines. After learning the whole show for one character, learning it for a bigger part (the biggest in the show) isn't exactly easy. I'm so lost, and exhausted, and with only two weeks until we open the clock is starting to tick rather obnoxiously. This deadline is killing me, and I'm freaking out. I don't know what to do. Ugh, I'm dying.

Something is starting to tell me that 3 shows, work, and school really wasn't that great of an idea.

I'm exhausted. I mean, sure I've been constantly tired forever, but this is getting to be a little much. Right now, I am literally freaking myself out over everything I have to do. I don't know what to do with myself.

Kill me now.

Because Derek Said So...

Seriously, it hasn't been that long. And to be completely honest, nothing interesting has happened. And also my internet was out for a week. So yeah.

Again, I'm at work. We just wrapped up a radiothon for the Children's Miracle Network, which I love considering I was in one of their hospitals in California when I was only a couple months old. I'm also running a Marshall Football game at 7, which will keep me here until about midnight. Good times.

So, we're doing There's a Monster in My Closet at Soldiers. I was playing Stephanie, the lead's best friend, and I have been moved up to the lead, Emily, as of Monday. Our first show is in 3 weeks, and I'm kinda freaking out. I think it'll be ok, but still...

In Youth Troupe (TWV) we're doing the funniest show in the history of the world, The Brother's Grimm Spectaculathon, in which I play a poor chick and... a prince. You'll have to see it to understand, but Ethan is my Princess. It's hilarious.

And in musical theatre I haven't really done much. Adelaide is a pretty easy part when he cuts the show as hardcore as he did. Yay baby.

This week was homecoming, and my Retro outfit was the best. It was kinda like Tracy at the end of Hairspray, and its weird since I was Tracy last year.

Um... Let's see.... I'm reading the Twilight Series again. New Moon is definitely better when you don't read it in 8 hours. Even though the whole time I was still really depressed. And I got Mackenzie to like it! I was so happy. (:

Anywho, I have an essay to write. 2, to be exact. So I shall be off.

Much love. <3

Saturday, September 20, 2008

Hmm...

Is it weird that I write all my blogs at work?

Anyway, life is pretty good. I've been super, super busy, but I'm not really upset about it. I found out on Tuesday that I'm playing Adelaide in Guys and Dolls, which should be fun. I really love the music, but I'm scared I'll sound bad. But I'll just work on it.

I'm reading Twilight...again. And Midnight Sun was so hardcore! It leaves off the day before they go to the meadow. LIKE WHAT THE HECK?! Can't even deal with it.

Chance's birthday was on Thursday, my parents keep asking him if 12 feels any different than 11, which annoys me. It's such a dumb question. It's not like you feel close to death or something the second you become a year older. But whatev. The party is tomorrow, and it's gonna be crazy fun.

I hate school.
Call me! (:

Twilight.

For those of you who don't know, the Twilight Series is the best thing that's ever happened to the world, so I'm writing a blog about how much I love it.

Also, I'm at work and I needed to take a break from reading Midnight Sun because my eyes are killing me.

Let me just start by saying that,
yes, I am 3 years behind on the trend, but the truth is I don't even really care. And everybody gives me crap about it because all the Harry Potter Fangirls are hooked on Twilight but I mean, why does it matter? Yes, I love Harry Potter, and now I'm more into Twilight. So, yeah, whatever. To each his own, right?

So, anyway, Twilight. The first book of the series and definitely the best. Which, in turn, it makes it my favorite book ever. So far. This book is pretty much about them falling in love, and its wonderful, and it makes me wish Edward Cullen was a real person.

And I believe she had to base the character off of somebody, so there has to be an Edward Cullen out there somewhere. There is hope! (Haha.)

New Moon. My least favorite, just because Bella is so sad. Its still wonderful though. I cried the entire book. The whole time! And I read it in one day because I just had to make sure Edward really was coming back. The end is wonderful, because its just so sweet! Ah! I can barely stand it.

And Jacob Black sucks. Hate him hate him hate him.

An army of new born vampires going crazy in Seattle? Hell yeah. Eclipse is amazing. And everything is happy throughout the entire book. Which makes me happy. But Jacob is still trying to ruin everyones lives the whole time. Well, not really, but he needs to just give up! I mean who in their right mind would pick him over Edward? Answer: no one. And obviously not Bella.

Team Edward all the way!

Breaking Dawn is, sadly, the last story of Bella and Edward. This one is...interesting, to say the very least. And it took me forever to read it because of dumb school. Its kinda crazy though. Like hardcore I don't really know whats going to happen now crazy. But its so good. And I felt like super empty when it was over. ):

At least Jacob dies.... Kidding. I wish he would.

Team Edward. Still.

So, now that I've wasted a good long time writing about this, I'm gonna go read more of Midnight Sun, which is Twilight from Edward's point of view. But it got leaked onto the internet, so Stephenie Meyer might not ever release it, which makes me so sad. It's only like halfway through, and they don't even get to the Meadow! Ugh.

Read Twilight if you haven't, you won't regret it.

Saturday, September 6, 2008

Yay Update.

So, things are pretty good.

-I'm almost finished with the whole Twilight series. (If you haven't read it, you don't know what you're missing.)
-I'm in rehearsals for 3 shows now, and I found out today I'm playing Little Red in Into the Woods next fall. (Btw, it's like the one role I have to play before I die.)
-School isn't like terrible. But I am being destroyed by AP History, which is to be expected I guess.

And the only bad side is, I hate my new hair.

And also, tonight Chance got hit in the face with a softball traveling very, very fast. He's at the hospital right now getting a catscan. I think he'll be alright though.

I be missing my TWV friends. But I think the year is gonna go by pretty quick. Call me if anyone is ever bored. Because chances are I will be too. (:

Peace.

First Day.

Let me start by saying that I know I've been posting an absurd amount of blogs, trust me it will stop soon. My first day was...eh. Only 179 days of school until summer break. And then my life begins again.

It's never been this hard for me to go back to normal, I usually just kinda go back into school mode, but this year I miss my friends so much, and I miss being able to lay around the house and read for 12 hours straight, and I miss not waking up until the sun was already, and most of all, I miss spending all day doing the one thing I love more than anything else.

The only thing keeping me sane right now are my books, I've done nothing but read for 3 days now. I hate this feeling, this....weird feeling. That I'm just kind of in a daze, going through the motions as some would say. I hate my classes. I don't see many of my friends. And most of all, I miss everyone so much that it's almost physically painful. I don't know why this has been so hard. I just wish I could get back into the groove of things.

I have French first block, I'm gonna be asleep all the time. I have Yearbook second, it's cool. I have AP US History third, it's gonna kill me. And I have Trig fourth, which I like pretty well so far, maybe its because I like math so much. I don't know.

And I've noticed now, in the beginning of my Junior year, I've never been so eager to go to college. I was scared last year, last month even, but now I can't wait to go out and see what there really is out there for me. And I've heard so many great things about college, I wanna leave so bad, it's killing me!

If you have my cell number, call me. I need some contact from the outside world. This bubble of Beckley is killing me softly.

Wow.

I knew it would be hard to say goodbye to everyone. But I have never cried so hard at the end of the summer as I did tonight. This year was a great year, and I made more friends than I ever have before.

I miss everyone already, and I hope that my sucky keeping in touch skills don't stop me from staying friends with everyone over the year.

To everyone going out of town, drive safe. It's been a great summer. I love you all, text me and keep in touch however you can. (:

Last Day of TWV Blog.

I'll have one every year. And yes, I know its only a little bit into the day, but I'm already dreading this evening. This has been the best summer I've ever had at the park, and that was mainly because of all the great friends I've made and all the fun I had doing High School Musical. And I know a lot of people say that High School Musical shouldn't count as musical theatre, but doing this show reminded me of why I love doing theatre so much, as corny as that sounds. I've made so many great friends this year, and I'm pretty sure a lot of them are planning on coming back so far (thank God.)

By the way, I've realized by now that almost zero people read my blog. So if you happen to be reading this, please comment. (:

I guess it makes it a little bit better that I'm launching right into another show. It'll keep my mind off of how miserable I am. Haha. And school starts on Wednesday, so I'm a little bit excited for that. Because I'll finally be able to come out of the cave that I like to call TWV and see some of my other friends. Even though I could live without them for just one more week of summer. But, its the same way every year.

Anyway, I'm gonna watch some television and try to distract myself from dying because I don't have a book to read right now.

Btw, Twilight is amazing. Read it.

Peace.

Eek.

So, only 3 shows left.
Then 2 days off.
Then the 1st day of school.

I'm not ready for it to end, but then again, I never am. I'm gonna miss it. But I have a feeling this year is gonna be pretty good. Idk. I guess we'll see. 2 more Honey and 1 more Hatfields. Not to mention 2nd stages. So, I guess it'll be a good week. The best thing is that like a week after the shows close, the classes start up. Which is awesome.

I've also come to realize, that everything I thought I had figured out is definitely not as I thought it was. Especially concerning what my 2nd blog was about. I may have liked "so and so" at the time, but now I'm definitely thinking otherwise.

What can ya do, I guess. Oh the perils of teenage heartache.

Well, ima go read my new Twilight book.

Peace.

Nothing Can Last Forever...

Tonight is our last show of High School Musical. I'm very sad, not only because it's so amazingly fun, but also because it's the only show that I really get recognized for. Playing Martha is the most fun I've ever had doing a show, and now I won't get to do it again until next year! If I even get to do the part again. And also, Mara is leaving tonight, I may cry a little bit. But let me tell you, there will be a lot of crying teenage girls.

Well right now it is about....6 am. Yeah. I'm at work. At 6 am! But at least I'm getting paid for it. I just hope I won't be horribly wiped at the show tonight. But for now, I'm going to watch The Other Boleyn Girl. Woot woot! Adios.

Wednesday, August 6, 2008

Oh man...

I just pretty much humiliated myself via yahoo messenger. Not the first time its happened, but still. I'd just rather it not be so akward. Way to go, Sam. This is only the second time I've ever done something like this, but its obvious to me now that I'm horrible at reading people. Oh well. In both instances, I've been left where I was to begin with, so really no loss. It's just come to my attention now that I'm most definitely the opposite of what guys are looking for. Oddly enough, I'm ok with that for the time being. Hopefully that won't be the case forever though. But I can't say that I'm unhappy with the way things have turned out, as I said earlier this evening, I'm not really one for relationships anyway. Don't quite believe in them. Anywho... nice second blog, right? I'm so emo.

I'm going to bed now. Bye. (:

Sam's First Blog

When I decided to get a blog, I asked my parents what they would do if I became an internet sensation... They were a little confused.

Anywho... Yay first blog!

The sad thing about this is, in a couple of days I'll probably forget I even have it. So my posts may be few and far between. Plus, I don't really know what to put in a blog. So I might not have anything good to put in here.

So, if you look to the right you'll see basically all you need to know about me. The usualstats everyone gives.

Um, right now its about 11:45 pm, on one of my few nights off I get every week and I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. Which is the story of how this blog came to be. Right now things are kinda hectic. We just opened High School Musical last week, (in which I play Martha Cox) and aside from all the promos and shows almost every night I guess you could say my life is starting to slow down a bit.

School starts soon, which means TWV is gonna be over soon. I'll really have nothing to do once it starts up again, considering I quit band and I'll only be taking classes two days a week.

Let's pray I'll have a good social life this year.

Anyway, thats about all I have for now, I guess I'll update soon. Au revior.
